Now I'm going to write about a thing which is a norm among the Malaysian Students in overseas. This trend is most popular among gents, which I think should be famous among girls. What is it? This norm is called "Now Everybody can cook, including me!". Maybe they're just trying to say, "Hey, I can cook too." or just an indirect way to say "Bertuah kalau makcik dapat menantu macam saya ni ha, pandai memasak".
To begin with, let's start with the title. Today's trend to write a catchy album title should include this few elements. First, write it with both uppercase and lowercase. In my case, you should write like this, "NoW EvErYbOdY cAn CoOk, InClUdInG mE". Got it? Good, it's easy right? Now, the next step is 'Inserting dots'. This is the most simplest procedure. I'm gonna put it to my title and the result should appear like this: N.o.W E.v.E.r.Y.b.O.d.Y c.A.n C.o.O.k , I.n.C.l.U.d.I.n.G m.E. Can you start seeing the difference from the raw sample? It's easier to read and have a few elements of art in it. The next step is to make the title appear bolder. Just highlight the title and click the B button on the top. Your title should appear like this: N.o.W E.v.E.r.Y.b.O.d.Y c.A.n C.o.O.k , I.n.C.l.U.d.I.n.G m.E. Got it right? If any error occurred, please redone it from the first step.
Now, the last step is to decorate your title with emoji. The word Emoji originates from the Japanese language 絵文字 which is derived from two main words. 絵(え、e)which means picture, and 文字(もじ、moji)which means words or alphabets. Since my title carries happy nuance in it, I'm gonna put a simple happy face at the end of the title. N.o.W E.v.E.r.Y.b.O.d.Y c.A.n C.o.O.k , I.n.C.l.U.d.I.n.G m.E d^-^b. If you're still in your twenties, you should NOT face problems to read and translate this emoji, unless you're either lack the usage of handphones or still living in the past. That's it. Please note that you can also use other confusing titles such as SUKASUKISUKASUKI, shuqashuqishuqashuqi or KeSuKaAn for more enhancement.
Finish with the title part. Now, to impress other people with your masterpiece, you should add few enhancements to your artwork. First step, the picture. Most bloggers and facebookers nowadays don't use cheap and low resolution camera to start with. Most of us Malaysian students in overseas bought an up-to-date and high-speed DSLR, a Digital Single Lend Reflex type of camera. Here in Japan, most of us are using Nikon camera. It's easy to use with multiple choices of lenses for extra performance. Some are using Canon DSLR which some say shoots better picture than Nikon. Whatever. Now, if you don't posses any of the camera mentioned above, a simple digital camera is more than enough actually. Second step is photo-shooting technique. In this case, to get a clear image of your subject, use Close Up mode, often marked with an image of flower on your camera. Make sure the lighting, angle and all those stuff are good to go, then Ka-Cha (Japanese version of camera shutter sound). Note, take images of your subject with different angle of view that can show your creativeness.
The next procedure is advertising. I'm sure most of the youngsters nowadays do have their own account of the world's famous social network website, the facebook. If you don't have one, go create it now! It's perfect to show your masterpiece to your friends and relatives, or just other people from other countries. If you've already have one, good. Now, upload the picture to your account. Ok? Now, here's the best part. Make sure you type a catch phrases for the photo's caption. To make it better, add phrases that shows the imperfectness and the feel of innocence of your subject. Words such as "My first trial" or "Resipi orang bujang yang hidup merantau " would be sympathetic enough to attract viewers and commentators. Upload for at least two or three different angle of the same subject. If the food was also made by other friend, tag him on the picture too.
Sample 1:
M.y F.i.R.s.T t.R.i.A.l ^^v
What next? Wait for other people to browse your album and comment. If you're lucky enough, you'll get good comments. In today's world, it's good to have an extra skills in yourself. Life's not about studying for exam. So, having a cooking skill matters enough. Men especially. Some say men look sexier when they know how to cook. Hmm, it's sounds gay (I'm a straight) but you could try to ask any women in your life. I've never done that though.....
p/s: One of my friends said: Pelik tengok blog sesetengah student engineering. Banyak yang merapu. Tak macam blog budak2 medic. Diorang tulis apa yang diorang belajar. I think that's medic. Most of the time you need to memorize, memorize and memorize. That's why they write what they've learned. To help them remember. I don't know. Perhaps someones out there knows better. Hmmm....
